Tabernacle United Methodist Church is seeking Sponsors for our 2026/2027 Season. 

 

Last year, the sponsors were recognized for their support of Tabernacle’s Community Outreach efforts in bringing in speakers / organizations  of interest to the community, as well as Community Resource Day (CRD26).

 

Tabernacle is involved in Community Outreach in ways other than just our speaker events and CRD.  Our sponsors for the coming season will be recognized at all of Tabernacle’s outreach events noted below.

 

The planning for our 2026 - 27 season is just beginning as we strive to support more organizations in the community. During the coming 2026 – 27 Season.

 

We are planning: 

     15-20  Outreach events   This would include Speakers, an increase in Hosting events for Other Community

     organizations, and CRD2027

     

     Community Resource Day February 20, 2027 with room for up to 110 organizations participating.

          We will expand CRD27 into the lower level of our Sanctuary to create a CRD Annex to allow us to

          handle the additional organizations attending.

 

In our 2025 – 2026 season thanks to our sponsors we were able to:

       Enhance / enlarge our Community Room for our continuing series of speaker events.

       Host other organizations when they needed space for events.

       Add an ADA Compliant ramp for access to our Basic Blessings Outreach 

                  (sanitary products, cleaning supplies, household necessities) We serve roughly 50 families each

                  month, and 160+ families annually.  3rd Saturday of the month 10 – 11am, open to our local

                  community.

        Support monthly Tabernacle dinners open to our local community.

        Helped cover additional costs of the www.capemaycommunityoutreach.com  (CMCO) website

             maintenance costs, weekly broadcast to on average 1200 email addresses on upcoming community

             social service focused events, and due to Google not being happy with the large volume of emails

             and shutting us down a few times,  necessitating the use of an email marketing platform.

·       The emails and website, capemaycommunityoutreach.com  (CMCO) support the promotion of community

             events by other non-profit organizations that support our community, at no charge to these 

             organizations.  Let us know how we can help your organization get their message out!

       

       Provide a weekly broadcast of all events added to the community calendar.

       Promote all sponsored events with local print advertising

       Provide beverages and snacks at all of our sponsored events.

 

For our 2026 / 27 season we are hoping to make the following enhancements to our facility:

       Addition of an Outdoor Electronic LED sign (is still on our list of things to do), for improved promotion

            of Community Outreach Events.

       Addition of an estimated 10-15 – 4 ft tables to handle additional organizations attending CRD27

       Replacement of two Windows 10 Laptops with Windows 11 version for use on Outreach Activities

       Continued support of local community focused social service agencies helping them promote their

           community outreach events.

 

What we are offering to our sponsors for their support? 

     For the 2026 - 2027  season we will provide promotion at the following donation levels

     with the noted benefits

            Diamond -  $1000          8 ft table included in Sponsorship   

            Platinum -   $  750         8 ft table included in  Sponsorship 

            Gold   -         $  500         6 ft table  included in Sponsorship    

            Silver -          $  250        4 ft table  included in Sponsorship

            Bronze -       $  150        4 ft table  included in Sponsorship

            Note: Table availability is while they last   Room table layout is fixed.

 

Sponsors will be prominently be featured in all Speaker event and Community Resource Day promotions and advertising.

 

Sponsors will be featured on posters in all public areas on Tabernacle property

         They will also be featured in our Outreach event promotions and advertisements both in print and

 

Please note that Tabernacle's Outreach Committee receives no financial support from the Church itself for these events.  The generosity of our sponsors enables us to continue this outreach effort.

 

Each individual Speaker event has costs for:   Advertising, Coffee, Snacks, and supplies.

 

Community Resource Day has the above costs plus 4 weeks of pre-event advertising. Additional Coffee, Snacks, Paper plates, cups, & napkins, plus hotdogs, buns, & condiments (free to homeless attendees).  Also Purchase of Tables as necessary as we continue to expand community organization involvement.
