  • October 23rd –25th  - Cape May Stage, a professional non-profit theater in historic downtown Cape May, is bringing to their stage this fall a performance of particular interest to veterans throughout Cape May County.

    • From October 23–25, they will present three performances of The American Soldier, a powerful one-man show based on actual letters and accounts from American soldiers and their families, spanning the Revolutionary War through the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • NAMI Atlantic Cape May to Offer Free Family-to-Family Education Program Beginning September 8

    •  Atlantic & Cape May Counties, NJ — NAMI Atlantic Cape May is now accepting registrations for its nationally recognized Family-to-Family education program, a free course designed for family members, partners, and friends of adults living with mental health conditions.

    •  The eight-week program will be held every Tuesday evening from September 8th through October 27nd, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00    See the Flyer for more details!

  • To honor the upcoming Veterans Day, Wesley By The Bay, part of the United Methodist Communities in Ocean City is holding a Have a Heart Initiative is asking for the support of local businesses/vendors by donating NEW items of winter weather clothing. These donations are for the homeless Veterans in Cape May County. This campaign, Warm Hearts For Veterans is the sister campaign of Have a Heart For Veterans which occurs on Valentine’s Day.

    • New items can be:

      • Men’s or women's winter coats/jackets

      • Winter socks, gloves, hats, scarves

      • Thermal/flannel shirts, Long Johns

      • Hand or Feet warmers

      • Back packs

      • Gift Certificates to McDonalds, 7/11 or Dunkin Donuts.

    • There is currently a large need to help Veterans that are homeless and numerous donations are needed. As the winter months approach, providing these much-needed items would be so helpful.         • Learn how The Branches Outreach has evolved to meet the changing needs of our community—from providing food assistance, clothing, showers, and other basic necessities to intensive case management, housing navigation, recovery support, benefits assistance, transportation, and connections to long-term resources. We'll also discuss current initiatives, emerging needs, and how our community can be part of the solution.

Our goal is to create pathways to healing, hope, and lasting success for every family we serve.

        • This is an engaging and informative presentations designed to help families better understand dementia and how to support someone living with it.  The talk combines practical knowledge, real-life examples, and compassionate guidance that leaves audiences feeling empowered rather than overwhelmed.

      • We are planning for up to 110 community focused organizations to join us for our 5th annual Community Resource Day – CRD 2027! 

      • We will be reaching out to organizations in early September to begin the signup process for CRD 2027.
