Community Grief Circle on the Beach

Saturday August 16th   5-6:30pm

Ocean City Beach @ 1st street

Join a community grief circle where we we’ll honor and process the losses that move us amidst the healing backdrop of mother nature.  Movement, mindfulness, and engagement with nature will be part of this experience, as will shared storytelling.

All stories are welcome and no loss is too small.  While no two stories are the same, this event will allow us to meet and support each other as fellow travelers on our individual and collective grief journeys.

Bring your heart….. and a bathing suit in case you decide to jump in the ocean at the end!

This event is free with optional donation to Three Little Birds, a non-profit that supports New Jersey Families grieving baby and perinatal loss.  It will be led by Liz Cohen, a masters in social work grad student specializing in trauma and grief at Rutgers University.  Liz.cohen@rutgers.edu
